Jackson brings almost thirty years’ experience to the Portfolio Manager role at Hammond Iles Investment Management. Having studied at Columbia University and the New York Institute of Finance, Jackson began his career at Shearson-Lehman Brothers, Inc., fixed income department in 1984 on the muni-bond trade desk. Later affiliations include both Bear Stearns and Nations Bank, gaining exposure in both the equity and derivative markets.
Jackson joined the firm in 2011. As a member of the Hammond Iles investment committee, he is responsible for our broad suite of multi-asset strategies including both strategic and tactical asset allocation. With prior positions in both operational and developmental capacities, Jackson understands the complexities and diligence required to navigate and succeed in today’s volatile environment. Jackson retains both the technical and communicative skills necessary to articulate the firm’s investment management philosophy and asset allocation process to both advisors and clients.
Jackson has held various Board of Director positions from local church/school affiliations to Director, American Heart Association, Florida. He now resides in West Simsbury, CT with his wife, Catherine and their two children.
